Clinical Interviewers/Trauma Counselor

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The WARP Project, aimed to aid and help with veteran mental health, with an Clinical Interviewer/Trauma Counselor. The Interviewer/Counselor is expected to do the following:  

• Candidate must conduct interviews with patients to gather necessary clinical information 
• Must be able to document information accurately and efficiently 
• Should be able to build a rapport with patients to make them feel at ease during the interview process 
• Needs to be able to identify potential red flags or concerns and escalate to appropriate medical personnel 
• Should be able to work independently while also collaborating with other members of the medical team 
• Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times 
• Needs to keep up to date with changes in medical procedures and terminology 
• Should be able to multitask and manage a large caseload of patients 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting clinical interviews 
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria and assessment tools 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to establish rapport with diverse populations 
• Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards in all aspects of the job
