Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Maintenance Technician

Overview of Role:

The Weekend Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting scheduled and routine upkeep on all machinery within the premises, handling both interior and exterior repairs. These tasks include but are not limited to painting, drywall patching, electrical work, plumbing duties, HVAC systems maintenance, and landscaping. The technician will also manage various room relocations involving the transfer of personal items like furniture and artwork.

Technicians need to address urgent repair requests as needed during or outside regular hours. Under guidance, the Maintenance Technician will provide support in household activities when necessary. This role involves engaging with families and residents to promote Parc Provence's mission of enhancing the welfare of everyone who visits our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all maintenance tools are clean and operational.

• Upkeep outdoor areas around the building throughout every season.

• Assist with new resident move-ins by installing items such as pictures.

• Address maintenance-related concerns or complaints from residents.

• Perform additional tasks as directed.

Requirements:

• Basic literacy skills (reading and writing).

• 1-3 years experience in facilities maintenance.

• Preferably experienced in a senior living setting.

• Strong dedication to company objectives while delivering high-quality customer service.

• Maintain a professional demeanor; consistently present a tidy appearance to clients.

Tools & Equipment:

All necessary tools are supplied by our department; individuals must be open to learning proper tool usage safely.
