Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and drafting of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
- Support the development and testing of custom automation equipment
- Participate in system integration, assembly, and documentation
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure complete system functionality
- Conduct basic research and help prepare technical documentation or reports
Qualifications/Experience Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong interest in automation, robotics, or industrial systems
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Eagerness to learn and be inquisitive
Preferred Skills
- Experience with prototyping, 3D printing, or hands-on mechanical assembly
- Familiarity with automation systems or machine design concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
