Mechanical Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and drafting of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
• Support the development and testing of custom automation equipment
• Participate in system integration, assembly, and documentation
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure complete system functionality
• Conduct basic research and help prepare technical documentation or reports

Qualifications/Experience Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Strong interest in automation, robotics, or industrial systems
• Basic proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Eagerness to learn and be inquisitive

Preferred Skills

• Experience with prototyping, 3D printing, or hands-on mechanical assembly
• Familiarity with automation systems or machine design concepts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
