As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will embody exceptional organizational prowess, a focus on achieving results, promptness, and skillful coordination. You should be adept in both foundational and cutting-edge technology tools and software. Your capabilities will stem from an appropriate blend of education, training, or experience to meet extensive performance targets.

• Deep understanding of electrical design principles with the capacity to analyze, interpret, and resolve schematic and electrical design issues (NFPA and ISO).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft business applications on a PC.

• Expertise in client collaboration while respecting project boundaries and adhering to timelines.

• Ability to excel under demanding conditions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

• Proficient at working within teams as well as independently tackling intricate technical challenges.

• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (~20%).

Qualifications/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering/electro-mechanics or equivalent field.

• Over ten years (10+) of hands-on experience with prevalent PLC & SPLC platforms within the automation sector.

  Must have Siemens und Rockwell Allen Bradley expertise

• Experience with HMIs – Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff is advantageous

• Familiarity with programming industrial robots is desirable

• Knowledge of machine vision solutions - Cognex, Keyence etc., is preferred

• Expertise in safety PLCs as well as designing fail-safe electrical systems

Location

This role is stationed at our Alpharetta office in GA but involves travel across North America when necessary.
