Position Overview

In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the seamless and safe operation of our facility. With the guidance of your supervisor, you will contribute to achieving outstanding production levels and uphold the values and objectives we hold dear. We are looking for adaptable individuals who can take on various responsibilities as needed by our dynamic business environment. Your journey starts here, reporting directly to the site manager.

Core Responsibilities

• Engage in diverse manual labor tasks at our site such as moving materials.

• Conduct routine checks on equipment before shifts begin and perform minor repairs when necessary.

• Prioritize safety by following health protocols and utilizing necessary protective gear.

• Follow instructions diligently to complete duties promptly.

• Assist in coordinating railcar movements essential for loading or unloading goods.

• Operate machinery efficiently while prioritizing safety and maximizing productivity.

• Develop a deep understanding of assigned tasks to minimize supervision needs.

• Perform essential housekeeping tasks around machinery daily.

Key Qualifications (Skills & Abilities)

• Comfortable working outdoors across all weather conditions (sunshine, rain, or snow) for long durations.

• Ready to embrace any shift assignments including nights, weekends, or holidays due to 24/7 operations at our plant.

• Experience with heavy machinery is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Foster a team spirit with readiness for any task required by the role.

• Proficient in using basic hand tools and power tools effectively.

Physical Requirements & Surroundings

This position demands physical resilience involving lifting up-to 50 pounds regularly along with activities like climbing or crouching frequently during work hours (2.5 - 5+ hrs./day). The use of specific protective gear such as helmets or steel-toed boots among others ensures safety throughout operations.
