The Quality and Risk Specialist position, located at our Viera Campus in Viera, Florida, involves the daily operation of a multi-functional tasks. The individual will work directly with all program staff and management to ensure the quality and safety is provided to the individuals we serve and the staff that provide services. The performance for this position requires judgment and ability to function independently under the network policies and procedures with minimal supervision. The Quality and Risk Specialist responsibilities include: activities associated with the implementation of the overall Risk/Quality Management and Compliance program; this includes activities involving risk management, incident reporting, investigations, compliance data collection & analysis, coordination of internal and external monitoring. This position will act as liaison between Devereux and outside agencies, e.g., Department of Children and Families, AHCA and the local police.
Position Details:
Salary: Starts at $20.25 - 23.09 / hr(rate is based on education and relevant experience)
Location:This is a field based position located at our Viera Campus in Viera, Florida.

Qualifications
Education
- High School or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
Experience
- One to Two years’ experience in tracking/monitoring of quality and compliance in case records preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, State and District policies, procedures and requirements required
- Proficient skills using computer software/programs required
Other Requirements
- Must be able to attend a 3-day orientation Monday and Wednesday from 9am-5pm.
- Valid Driver's License
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen and TB Test.
