Position Summary:
As a Special Projects Coordinator, you will support the planning, execution, and reporting of various projects aligned with our grant objectives and organizational goals. You’ll serve as a liaison across departments and external partners, ensuring smooth coordination and timely delivery of project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, journals, and research reports
- Provide project coordination support by compiling information, tracking timelines, and updating databases
- Liaise with internal departments and external organizations regarding current and future projects
- Collaborate with department leads to develop project plans and reporting mechanisms
- Prepare and submit reports as requested
- Work with vendors to obtain estimates and manage budgets
- Track and report on grant funding and compliance
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and grant documents
- Support Development and External Affairs with events and donations
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization. Devereux fosters a culture of reporting abuse, and will cooperate with the authorities to the fullest extent possible.
EXPERIENCE:
· BA preferred, 3 years experience three years of experience working /grant writing or project management considered in lieu of BA.
· Experience preparing business letters and correspondences.
· Experience managing projects and events.
· Experience working with vendors, receiving estimates and tracking expenditures is required.
· Experience writing proposals and/or grant writing is highly desired
· Experience designing marketing materials, including online media, is highly desired.
