Notice of Positions Availability at The Devereux Foundation

POSITION: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

 

DUTIES: Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Team to identify current needs and strengths that will be addressed during treatment and barriers to a less restrictive environment and develop comprehensive plan to mitigate barriers. Provide services as indicated by assessment and standards of practice to identify current treatment needs and barriers to discharge (may include behavior reduction and/or skill acquisition). Collaborate with family and external customers to plan an effective discharge with necessary. Supports to maintain treatment gains post discharge. Update FBA/PBSP and/or a safety/intervention plan for the home prior to discharge. Complete discharge assessments as assigned. Complete discharge summary. May be assigned to various Devereux locations throughout the US.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Special Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field plus 12 months experience in job offered, Program Officer, Acting Program Officer, or working with special needs and/or disabled children. Experience must include: 1) Texas state license or eligible for licensure, 2) Preparing individualized evidence based behavior intervention programs for implementation, 3) Conducting assessments to gather baseline data for behavior reduction/increase, skill acquisition, preferences/reinforcers to be able to determine best technologies for behavior change, 4) Provide instruction and supervision to others in the field with lower levels of certification, 5) Collecting data (frequency, duration, latency, PIR) to inform intervention and progress, and 6) Case Management (maintain thorough quantitative notes to document progress to determine next steps of programing for clients.).

SALARY: From $59,654 to $65,000 per year.
