Located in Tucson AZ, our Brief Intervention Program (BIP) is a short-term residential facility that provides enhanced residential services to male and female adolescents ages 12-17. Individuals stay up to 30 days in our structured treatment setting which includes 24-hour supervision and therapeutic services. This program is designed for adolescents who are in crisis, requiring active treatment in an environment with a high degree of oversight, intensive programming, and treatment. The BIP features living facilities, education/schooling, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.

As a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct daily medical management for our adolescent population, as well as provide, review, and follow-up with medical providers as to the effectiveness and/or possible side effects noted of medications administered. The RN will maintain effective communication with all departments involved with direct individual care and will provide education/training of direct care personnel.

Salary: $38/hr - $41.80/hr

Part Time Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday; day shift (schedules are subject to change)

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions required
• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred

• Six (6) months nursing experience required

• Previous behavioral health experience with children/adolescents or pediatric nursing preferred

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills

OTHER:

• Must attend mandatory New Hire Orientation for eight (8) days: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm (paid)
• Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results 
• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (OR eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). Arizona Revised Statutes Notice (ARS 36-411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a person's employment record contains a six-month or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer, a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
