Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, NY (12571), this position is responsible for assisting medical staff in the coordination of all medical appointments and care of students/individuals and in the daily functions of the department. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for maintaining current First Aid, CPR, SCIP, and Medication Certifications and will provide transportation as needed for all medical appointments.

 

Salary: (commensurate with education and experience)

With HS Diploma/GED - $19.50 -  $20.86 per hour

With BA/BS - $20.50 - $21.93 per hour

With MA/MS or higher - $21.50 - $23.00 per hour

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required. Associate's Degree preferred. OPWDD Medication Certification.

Experience:  At least one year experience working with a developmentally disabled population. Must possess a clean and valid NYS driver's license.
