Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a beautiful 24-hour, 10-acre campus located in the heart of Scottsdale. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.
As a Nurse Supervisor, you will provide nursing leadership within a highly acute behavioral health residential treatment setting Job duties include: oversight of day-to-day nursing operations, staffing coordination, nursing practice oversight, regulatory readiness, medication management processes, and clinical support services for the inpatient residential treatment program. The Nurse Supervisor provides direct supervision, coaching, mentorship, and operational support to nursing staff and collaborates closely with interdisciplinary leadership to ensure safe, effective, trauma-informed, and compliant behavioral health treatment services. This position supports nursing quality improvement activities, infection prevention efforts, staff development, adherence to organizational policies, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory requirements. The Nurse Supervisor works in partnership with the Statewide Nurse Manager to support nursing operations, quality initiatives, accreditation readiness, workforce development, and implementation of statewide nursing standards and practices. This position also participates in nursing operational coverage and provides clinical and administrative support as needed to ensure continuity of care and safe staffing operations.
Salary: $95,000 - $104,500
Full Time Schedule: Mon 8am-3pm, Tues 9am-4pm, Wed 9am-9pm, Thurs 9am-4pm, Fri 9am-4pm (schedules are subject to change)

Qualifications
- Current valid RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions required
- Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two (2) years of full-time related experience
- One (1) year related supervisory experience; one (1) year direct employee supervisory experience preferred
- Experienced in child/adolescent psychiatric facility preferred
- Experienced interacting with children of all ages in a supportive, professional manner and ensuring confidentiality
OTHER:
- Must attend mandatory two (2) weeks of paid New Hire Orientation: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, followed by on the job training
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
- Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
- Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (OR eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). Arizona Revised Statutes Notice (ARS 36-411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a person's employment record contains a six-month or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer, a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
