Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides therapy, support, and training to children and families in the foster care system. Based in Davie, FL, the Foster Home Licensing Supervisor position is responsible for:
- Oversight of initial licensure and re-licensure of foster homes.
- Ensures appropriate placement and safety of the children assigned to our care.
- Ensures staff maintain compliance with all standards and laws related to foster care placement.
Salary:This position's rate starts at $57,000 / annually; the rate increases with relevant experience and higher Education.
Schedule: Full-Time; community based position-works around families schedules.
Location:Coverage throughout Broward County

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Criminology, Psychology, or Sociology. required
- 3 years of experience working in child welfarerequired
- Certified with the Florida Certification board as a Child Welfare professional (CWCM or CWLC) required
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
OtherRequirements:
- Valid FL driver's license required
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen and TB Test.
- Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida. To learn more visit: https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
- Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
