In our department, we are responsible for the project management of new product initiatives at Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

Our team leads the project management of a “new truck cab,” precisely tailored to meet specific market requirements.

Planning, coordinating, and managing an international vehicle project will offer you exciting and diverse tasks.

You’ll gain detailed insights into the product development process – from strategic planning to the start of production.

During this internship, you will learn about the roles of various departments and how they interact in the development of new products.

We offer you the opportunity to acquire hands-on project management expertise and knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry.

You will gain a deep understanding of the different corporate functions – all working towards a common goal. Based on your interests and skills, we will tailor a varied and exciting internship program just for you.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Support and strengthen the project management of a product project for the development and industrialization of a New Cabin
  • Developing content for project status reports presented to regional and global product committees
  • Coordination and organization of relevant project committees
  • Organization and participation in cross-departmental, possibly international events (project workshops, project meeting organization, etc.)
  • Monitoring of project development through task and KPI tracking and risk portfolio analyses

Qualifikationen

  • Degree program with a technical and/or business background
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Analytical thinking and strategic working methods
  • High level of commitment and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as initiative
  • Class B driver's license recommended
