We are looking for highly committed individuals to join the group in an environment of diversity and constant challenges. **Objective of the position** Manage the resources assigned to the area of responsibility as well as safeguard, verify, and identify the productive material based on the procedures established by DTNA, the Operations Management, and the Materials Control. Prevent shortages using the Kanban process. Assure material availability in line. Responsibilities include: - Unloading and receiving K code material, which goes directly to the line of production with no additional handling. - Maintaining docks in good order and condition. - Managing trailer unloading by FIFO process to avoid detention costs. - Keeping Scrap, NIP, and BOH metrics to a minimum. - Ensuring all trailers are closed according to OEA. **Indispensable Requirements** (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded): - MS, Shoptech, OMT, Kronos - Engineering Drawing interpretation - Truck Operating System - End of line reports, General Downtime reports - Fluid, LogHub - English level: B1-B2 - Spanish: C1 **Soft Skills** - Decision making - Conflict management - Analysis and problem solving - Influence and negotiation - Planning and organization **Academic Knowledge** Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or related degree. We welcome applications from people of all cultures, generations, physical appearances, phases of life, sexual orientation, gender identity, sexual expression, people with disabilities, and people from any underrepresented group. **Main Functions** - Control the reception, storage, supply, and custody of the productive material to guarantee its availability at points of use in the main line. - Ensure the income and discounts of the productive material in the company's electronic system to guarantee the inventory of both the general warehouse and the inventory in process. - Manage and supervise personnel attendance, vacations, training matrix, training plan, performance metrics, and records of the assigned team. - Review, analyze, and update missing reports (SR) to ensure the expediting of missing parts and their supply to the point of use or offline to ensure the production of complete units. - Control the reception, storage, supply, and custody of the productive material to ensure its availability offline. - Coordinate the annual physical inventories to guarantee the Finance departments the veracity of the inventory in the plant. - Promote and execute Continuous Improvement projects to foster a culture of Continuous Improvement at all levels and maintain the improvement cycle in the department and plant. **Work Location Opportunity** Daimler Trucks AG is firmly committed to developing a work environment that supports empowerment and inclusion for our current and future employees.
