WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The department is responsible for accounting, reporting and the design, governance, and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems at Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH (DTFS). Acting as a central interface to DTFS subsidiaries and corporate functions of Daimler Truck AG, the department ensures compliant, efficient, and future-oriented finance operations worldwide.

For this challenging and impactful role, we are looking for a Senior Finance Inhouse Consultant (f/m/d).

As a Senior Finance Inhouse Consultant, you will take senior expert responsibility for the rollout, governance and continuous development of the standardized SAP FAST accounting and financial reporting template across the DTFS Group. The role explicitly includes steering the rollout of the SAP FAST template in new markets as well as governing, stabilizing and further developing markets already live, ensuring global standardization, regulatory compliance and operational stability. The position acts as a key interface between Finance, IT, DTFS local entities and Daimler Truck Group functions, with independent responsibility within defined governance frameworks.

These challenges await you:

- Steering SAP template rollouts in new markets from As-is analysis to the end of the hypercare phase (workpackage lead) - Steering operational support and stabilization of already live markets - Line function project management and cross-functional coordination with IT and internal stakeholders - Consulting and managing process improvements and standardization ensuring template harmonization - Planning and preparation of trainings, workshops and documentation

Qualifikationen

Studies / Training

- Completed studies in economics with a focus on accounting or controlling, business informatics, or a comparable qualification

Experience

- Professional experience in accounting, controlling, or financial reporting - Coordination or steering experience in complex environments - Extensive experience in international project work - Proven experience in SAP-based finance system rollouts and productive system governance - Strong experience in method, process and system design for accounting-relevant business processes - Solid experience or deep knowledge of financing and/or leasing business models - Strong understanding of individual and consolidated financial statement preparation

Specific knowledge

- Very good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting processes - Deep knowledge of national accounting regulations (HGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS) - Advanced project management skills - Very good knowledge of SAP in an accounting and financial reporting context - Knowledge of financial statement or consolidation systems (e.g. MIF) - Business fluent English (German is an advantage)
