Personal Care Attendant

Job Opportunity: Private Care Attendant
Location: Winnipeg South

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Private Care Attendant to provide personal care and daily support for an elderly gentleman. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care assistance, possess a valid driver’s license, and have access to a vehicle. CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with morning routine (helping with dressing, personal care, and mobility support)

• Prepare breakfast and assist with meal preparation

• Provide hygiene support, including showering and grooming

• Ensure client’s comfort and safety throughout the day

• Light housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming)

• Engage in meaningful conversation and companionship

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Updated CPR and First Aid certification

• Professional appearance and attire

• Caring, patient, and respectful demeanor

• Previous experience in personal care preferred

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shifts: 4-6 hours per day

• Wage: $17-$21 per hour, depending on experience
