Events Representative (Per Diem)

Position: Per Diem Brand Representative

Location: Brooklyn, NY  (locations may vary)         

Reports to: Marketing Director

Hours: Part time, up to 29 hours per week NonExempt status, hours may vary Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends required for events

About the Position:

As a Part-Time / Per Diem Brand Representative, you will be the face of BSW at marketing events, in the field, and within local communities. Your primary responsibility is to build awareness of BSW’s solar solutions, engage with potential customers, and drive interest in solar adoption. You will set Discovery Calls for the outside sales team and earn rewards for leads that convert into sales. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding BSW’s reach and customer base.

Responsibilities: 

• Represent BSW brand and products at marketing events, community outreach programs, and high-traffic locations to educate NYC homeowners about solar energy.

• Engage with potential customers to generate interest and schedule Discovery Calls for the Outside Sales team.

• Drive awareness of Brooklyn SolarWorks by actively promoting our brand and mission in the field.

• Identify potential leads and ensure they are genuinely interested in solar solutions.

• Carry out additional duties as required by the Manager.

Required Skill Set:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for solar energy 

• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors

• Positive attitude and self-start

• Valid NYS driver’s license

• Ability to drive and park on NYC streets

Preferred Skill Set:

• Demonstrated success in previous sales/marketing/fundraising roles

Compensation: 

• $23 Base hourly rate 

• $250 per booked solar projects. (Additional rewards for leads you generate that result in a closed sale. Performance-based incentives, per diem excluded)
